Graduated with full marks and honors in Veterinary Biotechnology Sciences at the University of Milan, Valentina is currently enrolled on a PhD Programme in Molecular and Experimental Medicine. She carries out research activities in the field of osteoimmunology and her project aims to investigate the role of the long pentraxin 3 (PTX3) in the context of bacterial osteomyelitis.
