He graduated in Molecular Biology of the Cell in 2011 at University of Milan. He achieved the PhD degree in Occupational Health and Industrial Hygiene at the Environmental Epigenetics Lab, University of Milan in 2015.

In 2015, he joined as post-doc the Molecular Gastroenterology Laboratory in Humanitas Clinical and Research Center and in 2017 he achieved the Second Level Master in Medical and Genomic Statistic at University of Pavia. His main activity focuses on Tumor-Associated Macrophages and Tumor Infiltrating Lymphocytes as outcome prognostic factors in Colorectal Cancer, and the relationship between tumor infiltrating immune cells and adjuvant chemotherapy.
