I graduated in Biotechnology from University of Madras, India and worked in the service industry in India as a Team leader in Genomics where I had specialized in microarrays and Next generation sequencing techniques. I completed my doctorate in Translational and Molecular medicine (DIMET) from University of Milan-Bicocca, and pursued my postdoc in Biological and Environmental Sciences division at King Abdullah University of Science and technology (KAUST) in Saudia Arabia. In 2017, I moved to the lab of Silvio Danese and am currently working on the molecular mechanisms involved in mucosal wound healing in IBD patients.
