Roberta obtained her master’s degree in “Human Biology” in 2011 at the University of Salento. In 2012 she got the 2nd level master’s degree in “Molecular and Genetic Epidemiology” at the University of Pavia, where she acquired skills in the field of genomics and bioinformatics. In 2013 she moved to the National Research Council (CNR) in Pavia where she obtained PhD in “Biomolecular Sciences and Biotechnologies” in 2016. During her PhD she studied the impact of chronic DNA damage analyzing epigenetic and transcriptional data through next generation sequencing experiments. In 2013 she got the “Short Term Mobility” fellowship to spend a short period at the University of Tel Aviv in Israel. In 2017 she moved to Humanitas Research Hospital in the laboratory of Experimental Immunopathology. From July 2019 she joined the Bioinformatics Unit. Here she is mainly involved in RNA-sequencing and single-cell data analysis in the field of Immunology.
