In 2016, I moved in the laboratory of Skin Pathology,in Humanitas University where I am leading projects on: 1)Epigenetic roadmap of keratinocytes in drug response; 2) New strategies for diagnostic, therapeutic and clinical care in Skin immunological diseases, and 3) INNODERM project to evaluate the robustness of the RSMO technology on mouse skin.
Research of interest: Gene regulation. In the last 10 years my research mainly focused on the study of mouse brain neural development with the generation of Sox2 conditional knock out mouse model that allowed the-in vivo and in vitro-study of the role of this gene in neural development and neural stem cell maintenance. Conditional knockout Sox2 mouse models was also used for the study of melanoma, medulloblastoma and oligodendroglioma tumors.
