Matteo Zampini is a highly experienced researcher with a PhD in Bioscience and Biotechnology from the University of Padova. He is an expert in molecular biology, sequencing, and computational biology. He has dedicated his academic and professional career to studying cancer biomarkers and deregulated oncogenic pathways using integration of genomics, transcriptomics and epigenetics data (microarrays, NGS, single-cell sequencing). He has held various research fellowships, including positions at IOV (Istituto Oncologico Veneto), Istituto di Ricerca Pediatrica – Fondazione Città della Speranza, and IRCCS Humanitas Research Hospital.

He currently works at the Genomics of Hematological Malignances Lab of Humanitas Research Hospital in Milan, Italy. He is involved in different projects regarding bioinformatics analyses in Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS) to understand their genomic basis, to identify new prognostic scores and to develop personalized treatments.
