Dr. Donadon‘s research activity is dedicated to the liver and biliary surgery. He is involved in clinical research on perioperative and oncological outcome measures of patients affected by hepatocellular carcinoma, cholangiocarcinoma, colorectal liver metastases and neuroendocrine tumors.
His research interests comprise also translational research, which is conducted in the laboratory of Hepatobiliary Immunopathology. He is principal investigator of some research projects that have been awarded by competitive grants. Dr Donadon is author/coauthor of more than 130 articles published in peer-reviewed journals, copious of abstracts and presentations at national and international meetings.
He is Associate Editor of Digestive Surgery, Member of Editorial Boards of Cancers and Frontiers in Medicine, as well as Referee of many different international journals. He is Secretary of Italian Association of Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Surgery (AICEP) and deputy secretary of the Italian Association of Surgery (SIC).
