Lavinia Morosi is co-head of the Metabolomics Core Facility of IRCCS Humanitas Research Hospital and a staff scientist at the Cancer Pharmacology Lab.

Morosi graduated in Biology at the University of Milan-Bicocca in 2009 and she got her PhD in Biomedical Technologies using biochemical and proteomic technologies. She worked at the Istituto di Ricerche Farmacologiche Mario Negri IRCCS where she developed new mass spectrometry imaging techniques applied to anticancer drugs and nanotechnologies in collaboration with the Politecnico di Milano. She developed analytical methods for pharmacokinetic studies in preclinical models and clinical studies. In Humanitas, she is in charge of clinical and preclinical pharmacokinetic and imaging mass spectrometry studies in several projects aimed to improve drug distribution
