Dr. Ilaria Fuso Nerini graduated in Biotechnology at the Università degli Studi di Milano and she got a PhD in Pharmacological Sciences at the Istituto di Ricerche Farmacologiche Mario Negri IRCCS. She has experience in the study of cancer biology and anticancer therapies through molecular analysis and in vitro and in vivo studies. She studied how the heterogeneity and chemoresistance of some neoplasms are associated with reduced penetration of drugs within the tumor tissue. In Humanitas, she contributes to the development of the research programs of the Group of Cancer Pharmacology.
