Francesca Fanuele

Francesca Fanuele obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Master’s degree in Molecular Biology of the Cell at the University of Milan. During her Master’s thesis internship, she worked in the Laboratory of Vascular Physiology at the Department of Biosciences of the University of Milan. She contributed to the characterization of a gene involved in the process of angiogenesis, using zebrafish as a model organism.

As a PhD student of the Molecular and Experimental Medicine program of Humanitas University, she now works in the Laboratory of Inflammation and Immunology in Cardiovascular Pathologies, in a collaborative project with the Adaptive Immunity Laboratory. She is working on RNA-based therapies for cardiovascular disease.
