Fabio Grizzi is the head of the Histology core facility at IRCCS Humanitas Research Hospital.

He received his degree from the University of Milan in 1995 and was recognized for his contributions to biomedical research, receiving the prestigious “Steven Newburgh Annual Award” in the same year. During his scientific career, he has held various academic positions, including Adjunct Assistant Professor at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, Lubbock, Texas, USA, and appointment to the National Cancer Institute-sponsored Pilot Cancer Antigen Prioritization Process of the US National Institute of Health.

He is a member of the editorial board of various scientific Journals and serves as reviewer for prestigious journals. He has published more than 200 peer-reviewed articles and 35 book chapters, and over 350 presentations at national and international Meetings (H-index= 43; Scopus source). In 2015, he was appointed Adjunct Teaching Professor in the Faculty of Medicine at the Humanitas University into the course “Building bodies: from gametes to organs”.
