Dr Eloise Scamardella graduated in Molecular Biology at the University of Naples Federico II, where she studied the antitumor effect of oncolytic viruses. In 2020 she obtained a PhD degree in Immunology at the Translational Immunology Lab headed by Dr Enrico Lugli, enrolled in the PhD program of Open University/Humanitas. During her studies she focused on molecular mechanisms regulating memory CD8 T cell differentiation. She worked as a lab technician in the Gene Transfer Technologies and New Gene Therapy Strategies Unit, led by Prof. Luigi Naldini, at the San Raffaele Telethon Institute for Gene Therapy, Milan, Italy. She is currently employed as lab manager in the Translational Immunology Lab of Enrico Lugli.
