Post-Doc with scientific experience in neurodegenerative translational research including Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, Multiple Sclerosis, Prion diseases and Alzheimer’s disease. Ph.D in Life and Biomolecular Sciences (The Open University, UK) in 2013. In 2015 she joined prof. Michela Matteoli’s group to develop a miniaturized bio-mimetic in vitro model of the Blood-Brain Barrier to investigate immune trafficking in neurodegenerative disorders.
