I graduated in Medical Biotechnologies from the University of Milan in 2004 and received my PhD in Experimental Pathology and Neuropathology from the University of Milan in 2008. As my first post-doc, supported by the Italian Foundation for Cancer Research (FIRC), I performed a one-year stage at Institute Pasteur in Paris, in the laboratory of viral diseases directed by Dr. Francoise Bachelerie. By the end of 2010, I moved back to Humanitas where I started my independent research activities supported by a Fund Investment Research Basic (FIRB) of the Italian Ministry of Health. At present I’m a Research Assistant in Immunology and General Pathology at the Department of Medical Biotechnologies and Translational Medicine of the University of Milan.
