I graduated in Medical Biotechnology and Molecular Medicine in 2006 and obtained a PhD in Experimental Pathology and Neuropathology from the University of Milan in 2009 defending a thesis on the role of atypical chemokine receptors in the control of inflammation and tumor progression under the supervision of Dr. Raffaella Bonecchi. At present I’m responsible for a project aimed at the characterization of tumor associated macrophages in high grade gliomas supported by the Fund Investment Research Basic (FIRB) of the Italian Ministry of Health.
