Beatrice Claudia Cianciotti obtained the master’s degree in Medical Biotechnology and Molecular Medicine at the University of Milan in 2014. Then, she joined the Experimental Hematology Unit at San Raffaele Scientific Institute under the supervision of Prof. Chiara Bonini, and in 2020, she obtained a PhD in Molecular Medicine (final specialization in Basic and Applied Immunology and Oncology) from Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele.

During her PhD, she studied the autoreactive long-living self-renewing Memory Stem T cells in autoimmune diseases, and she developed novel genetic engineered cellular products for cancer immunotherapy using CRISPR/Cas9 tools. In 2020, she also obtained a Master of Higher Education Management in Pharmaceutical Management.

In March 2022, she joined the Translational Immunology Lab at Humanitas Research Institute as post-doctoral researcher under the supervision of Dr. Enrico Lugli. She is currently a postdoc fellow at Maria Rescio’s Lab.
