I graduated in Medical Biotechnologies at the University of Bologna in 2014. In 2015 I obtained a one-year research fellowship at The Wallenberg Laboratory for Cardiovascular and Metabolic Research (University of Gothenburg). I am currently a PhD student at the University of Eastern Piedmont and I am working in the laboratory o Molecular Immunology, head by Prof. Antonio Sica at Humanitas Clinical and Research Center. My research focuses on Immunometabolism, in particular on the molecular pathways linking the systemic metabolic disorders (i.e. obesity, hypercholesterolemia) and the inflammatory profile of innate immune cells during cancer disease and cardiovascular dysfunctions.
